Federica Fontana was born on the 30th April 1977 in Monza, Italy. In 1995 she came third in the Italian television programme "Bellissima" ("Most Beautiful"), presented by Alberto Castagna on Italia 1, and in 1997 she was one of the "Miss del Giro d'Italia", and in the same year working on "Strettamente Personale" on TMC. Stints on diverse national programmes follwed, such as "Paperissima", "Volevo Salutare", "La Sai l'Ultima", "Mai Dire Gol" and a programme for children, "Slurpiamo" on J-TV. However, it was with "Special Champions League" and "Guide To The Championship" that she made her mark, presenting two programmes about soccer. On "Guide To The Championship", she co-presented with Alberto Brandi, with Eraldo Pecci providing opinions and the duo of "Savi & Montieri" providing the comedy.
Federica was the face of the 2000-2001 "Il Processo Del Lunedi" and the female protaganist on "Mai Dire Maik".
