Wilvert was discovered during a casting session at her public school in Florianopolis, Brazil. She was only 14 years old at the time, but in only four weeks she had landed a contract in New York City.
Since then, Solange has appeared in major advertising campaigns for Chanel, Calvin Klein, Fendi, Gucci, Jill Stuart, Neiman Marcus, PennyBlack, Stella McCartney, and Vera Wang Jewelry. She has been in equally high demand on the catwalks, where she has modeled the ready-to-wear fashions of Alexander McQueen, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Perry Ellis, Dolce & Gabbana, Karl Lagerfeld, and Marc Jacobs, to name a few. Solange’s delicate visage has also appeared on the covers of Vogue and Stiletto.
